Teaching ESL in preschool

Today I share a project to work on the oral skills of 5-6 year old children. The students are divided into groups of 2. Each one chooses a different animal and analyzes its main characteristics, with the aim of preparing an oral presentation via VOICETHREAD . This would be the expected result:  

 A matching game made with Hot Potatoes software (J-Match). The goal is to connect the fruit with its color. Due to experience limitations, I have not been able to get the game to work with images, so I have placed the image of the fruits as a reference. Today I share a listening activity aimed at the last year of preschool. The activity focuses on animals  to introduce and internalize how the words that identify them sound.  The development of the activity combines the playback of the audio , which names 10 different animals, and the worksheet (created using  123 Listening   template tool), which presents two images of animals, so the student can discriminate which one is referring to audio. The audio has been edited in audiovisual format using Adobe Premiere (video editing software), so it can be played accompanied by the images, or not.  In the worksheet, I have added its reference word below the image of each animal, to make it easier for children to identify it auditorily.

Starting with the Super Simple's song " This is the way " we work on healthy habits in the classroom within the morning routine to prepare for going to school. Through Padlet platform I have created a multimedia wall titled  "Morning routine" , where We can explore each habit of the morning routine, which includes:  Washing our face Combing our hair  Brushing our teeth Getting dressed Having breakfast Once all these steps have been completed, we are ready to live a lot of new experiences at school. In this way we reinforce healthy habits as well as expand everyday vocabulary and action verbs .
